“Self-sacrifice is the real miracle out of which all reported miracles grow”

It is Monday, time to think about all the blessings we have and all the people still suffering and struggling with the aftermath of Hurricane SandyThere are so many ways to serve.  Kudos if you have already chosen a way to donate such as through the Red Cross, or have picked up the phone and checked in on family and friends who have been effected, what matters most is that you are doing SOMETHING.

My friend Fran who has been personally effected by the storm, shared a GIVING opportunity I am passing on to my friends and followers.  Whether you choose this or another way to donate, the importance of giving to those so desperate for our help is paramount.  This is a great opportunity for parents to show our children the spirit of charity and personal sacrifice.  Thanks!

This is targeted to a community in Brooklyn, NY as well as Breezy Point and the Rockaways.
