This week I finished both “Blue Asylum” by Kathy Hepinstall and “The Casual Vacancy” by J.K. Rowlings. My reviews are out on Amazon and I really enjoyed both of these, so check them out if you are looking for something new and different.
With Thanksgiving upon us, it is important to remember the big things as well as the smaller things in life for which we are thankful. Today I am thankful for all the authors who bring us so much through the words they write. Books have made me laugh, cry, think, debate and discuss. They have taken me to parts of the world I will probably never get to. They have transpoted into time periods I have never lived. And yet, despite the gazillion books I have read, I want more….
and “To Kill a Mockinbird” by Harper Lee, which is my Classic read for the month.
